Activating CANSLIM Patterns
For members using CANSLIM as part of their trading strategy, you can enable our algorithmically detected pattern recognition to draw these patterns on the chart.
You can find these options under the "Select Patterns" drop down menu:
From here, you can select all (or a selection of) patterns to show on your stock chart:
What if no patterns appear on my chart?
If no technical patterns display, there are no algorithmically detected patterns found in the time frame for the stock you are examining. You can try expanding your time frame for more data.
If you are still unsure whether the patterns are not displaying properly, you can click "Patterns" on the right hand menu. This tab will display any and all patterns that are detected by Pattern Finder for your selected time frame and stock.
